Descripción:Indoline-2-thione is a synthetic compound that belongs to the class of active natural products. It has been shown to have a function in the synthesis of propiolic acid, which is an oxindole and phytoalexin that inhibits melanogenesis. Indoline-2-thione also has ammonium nitrate as its functional group, which is a linear molecule with two nitrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. Indoline-2-thione has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells in vitro by inducing apoptosis. This compound also shows structural similarities to crystalline indole compounds found in nature, such as mcf-7 (a protein).
