Descripción:Fagarine is a limonin compound that belongs to the group of chemical substances. It is an enzyme inhibitor that inhibits cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, which are enzymes that produce inflammatory molecules. Fagarine also inhibits DNA polymerase and protein synthesis in cells, leading to cell death by apoptosis. Fagarine has been shown to have anti-cancer effects in tissue culture and animal models.
