Descripción:Butopyronoxyl is a trifluoroacetate salt of butyronoxyl. Butyronoxyl is a growth factor that has been shown to be clinically relevant in the treatment of HIV infection and cancer. It also has potent anti-cancer activities, with the ability to inhibit tumor growth and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. The asymmetric synthesis of butyronoxyl is achieved through a one-pot reaction involving the condensation of 2-bromobutanoic acid with maleic anhydride followed by potassium carbonate-promoted hydrolysis. This compound can be obtained from natural sources such as fatty acids or plant extracts.
