Dyclonine is a neurotrophic factor that is used as a local anesthetic to treat pain and inflammation. It is also used in the treatment of symptoms related to myocardial infarction, including chest pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue. Dyclonine has been shown to inhibit the growth of skin cancer cells by increasing the production of nerve growth factors. Dyclonine has been found to be effective in treating metabolic disorders such as obesity and diabetes mellitus type 2. The drug can also be used for autoimmune diseases such as HIV infection or rheumatoid arthritis.
Dyclonine can be administered through injections or intravenously and has good biocompatibility with other polymers due to its hydroxyl group and polymerase chain activity.
