The solid form of this compound can exhibit fluorescence. The yield of 1,3,5-triiodobenzene isolated from the reaction was found to be 91%. Electrochemical data such as cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry have been recorded for this compound. Radiation induced decomposition reactions have been observed in 1,3,5-triiodobenzene monomers
