Descripción:Ranunculin is a natural product that is used in the food industry as a flavoring agent. It is also used in pharmaceutical preparations to treat pancreatitis and other stomach ailments. Ranunculin has been shown to have hemolytic activity, which may be due to its ability to cause cell lysis through the disruption of lipid membranes. Ranunculin also has chemical diversity, and has been found to inhibit the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Ranunculin has not been found to have carcinogenic effects on solid tumours or any effect on DNA template.
