1-[10-[3-(4-Methylpiperazin-1-yl)propyl]phenothiazin-2-yl]butan-1-one is a drug that belongs to the class of first generation antipsychotics. It is a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist and has been used in the treatment of schizophrenia. This drug can induce liver enzymes, which may lead to an increase in levels of drugs such as warfarin, phenytoin, or carbamazepine. The effective dose for this agent is between 40 and 180mg/day. 1-[10-[3-(4-Methylpiperazin-1-yl)propyl]phenothiazin-2-yl]butan-1-one is metabolized by the liver and excreted through the urine.
