Benzyltributylammonium bromide can be prepared by reacting sodium carbonate with chloride, followed by the addition of benzyltriethylamine. Structural analysis reveals that benzyltributylammonium bromide is a glycoside derivative that has a trifluoroacetic acid hydroxyl group on one end and a dinucleotide phosphate hydroxyl group on the other end, as well as two benzyl groups bound to each other with an amine bridge between them.
