Descripción:
Sodium 2-((2-(stearoyloxy)propanoyl)oxy)propanoate is a sodium salt that has been used as a model system for the study of acidic ester linkages. It can also be used as a diagnostic agent to measure the concentration of fatty acids in biological fluids. The molecule contains two stearoyl chains, which are glycol esters with an emulsifier, and four fatty acids, which are surfactants. The molecule also contains two sodium ions, which are complex enzymes.
