Descripción:
4,5-Dichloro-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxamide is a potent inhibitor of potassium channels. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of these channels in hamster ovary cells, as well as in cell lines derived from human brain and heart tissue. This compound is synthetic and has low molecular weight, making it an attractive drug candidate for further study. 4,5-Dichloro-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxamide has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on potassium channels in Xenopus oocytes injected with rat brain RNA.
