Cedrusin is a fatty acid extract from the bark of the Cedrus libani tree. It has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo, and also reduces the symptoms of cancer patients. Cedrusin inhibits tumor cells by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting angiogenesis, which are processes that help tumors grow and spread. Cedrusin also has anti-inflammatory properties, as it inhibits the production of prostaglandins.
