7-Bromocinnoline is a research molecule that has been shown to be immunomodulatory in vitro. It has been shown to inhibit the expression of cyclophosphamide-induced genes in cultured human intraepithelial lymphocytes and restore the immune profile of immunosuppressed mice. This compound is also able to inhibit the expression of genes induced by high doses of cyclophosphamide, including genes involved in cell cycle regulation and drug resistance. 7-Bromocinnoline is an extract from medicinal plants and it has been shown to have medicinal properties.
