Descripción:3-(1-Naphthyl)-1H-pyrazole is a competitive antagonist of the H4 receptor. It binds to the histamine H4 receptor, which is expressed on the surface of cells in the stomach and intestines. 3-(1-Naphthyl)-1H-pyrazole blocks the binding of histamine to its receptors, preventing or reducing acid secretion by parietal cells. This drug also reduces gastric motility and may be used for ulcer treatment. 3-(1-Naphthyl)-1H-pyrazole is soluble in water, but not in alcohol.
