The crystal data indicates that it has two asymmetric carbon atoms with one chiral center, and therefore exists as four stereoisomers. N-(1-Adamantyl)-1-(cyclohexylmethyl)indazole-3-carboxamide has been shown to be an effective analgesic for chronic pain relief in animal studies, blocking the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). This drug is not yet approved for human use.
