Descripción:KL-2 is a SEC inhibitor that is used in the treatment of infectious diseases, including HIV. KL-2 binds to the SEC protein, which is involved in the regulation of cellular function, and inhibits its activity. The activity of this protein has been shown to be regulated by gene product polymorphisms and sequences. KL-2 inhibits granulosa cell proliferation and follicle growth in animals, as well as human ovarian follicles. KL-2 also can stimulate stem cells to differentiate into osteoblasts and myoblasts.
