Descripción:R788 (Fostamatinib) Disodium is a drug that is used for the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases. It inhibits the activity of tyrosine kinases, which are enzymes that transmit signals in cells. Fostamatinib disodium has been shown to inhibit T-cell lymphomas in vivo and has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against various leukemia cell lines. In vitro studies have shown that this drug is an inhibitor of effector proteins such as leukemia inhibitory factor and protein kinase C. The oral prodrug of R788 (fostamatinib) disodium has been found to be absorbed rapidly and to be glucuronide conjugated in humans. This drug also has pharmacokinetic properties that can be used to monitor its exposure in patients with autoimmune diseases and t-cell lymphomas.
