Ribocil-C is an antibacterial agent that inhibits the synthesis of bacterial RNA by binding to a specific region of this molecule. Ribocil-C has a regulatory effect on the biosynthesis of riboflavin and can be used for the treatment of staphylococcal infections. Ribocil-C is a synthetic flavin compound that binds to the regulatory site in bacterial RNA, which prevents transcription and translation. This drug also has antimicrobial activity against bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus.
