Descripción:ACY-775 is a molecule that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has potent inhibitory activity against epidermal growth factor (EGF) and has been shown to be effective in treating brain infarction in cell cultures. ACY-775 has also been shown to have antidepressant response in clinical studies, which may be due to its ability to block serotonin reuptake. This drug also inhibits acid formation and synaptic dysfunction, which may contribute to its effect on depression. ACY-775 binds to lysine residues on the HER2+ breast cancer cells and inhibits their growth.
