Descripción:Apilimod is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of the signal transduction pathways involved in the activation of lymphocytes and macrophages. It has been shown to inhibit viral replication and neuronal death, as well as to induce significant cytotoxicity. Apilimod also suppresses inflammatory bowel disease by inhibiting TLR-mediated signaling pathways. Apilimod is an inhibitor of toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling for IBDs, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
