Descripción:4-Phenyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one is a drug that blocks the L type calcium channel. It has been shown to be effective against cervical cancer and cardiac arrhythmias. This drug binds to the l type calcium channels in tumor cells and prevents the influx of calcium ions into the cell, which would normally cause an increase in intracellular levels of cAMP and activation of protein kinase A. 4PHT is a piperazine derivative with an additional triazole group at position 2. It is an amine blocker that can also affect contractility by inhibiting phosphorylation of myosin light chains.
