Benzothiazol-4-ylamine is an anticoccidial agent that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of coccidiosis. It is a chiral compound with two enantiomers and can be used in a variety of ways, including as a surface active agent for the prevention of bacterial adhesion and growth. Benzothiazol-4-ylamine has been shown to be effective against gram-positive bacteria and other pathogens, such as Escherichia coli. This compound has also been found to have antibacterial properties by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
