Información del producto
- Ethenyl(Dimethyl)Phenylsilane
Dimethylphenylvinylsilane is an organometallic compound that is a hydrogen bond donor. It has shown to be a solid catalyst for the polymerization of ethylene and propylene. The reaction rate can be increased by adding water vapor, which increases the number of hydrogen bonds in the system. Dimethylphenylvinylsilane is usually used as a catalyst for polymerization reactions and can also function as an uv absorber. This molecule has been shown to be able to increase the chemical stability of polymers, such as polypropylene, by forming intermolecular hydrogen bonds with neighboring molecules. The β-unsaturated ketones that are formed during polymerization reactions are susceptible to photochemical degradation and dimethylphenylvinylsilane protects these compounds from photodegradation.
