Descripción:Benzoylferrocene is a matrix effect that is used as a calibration curve. It is used to determine the linear relationship between the concentration of substrate molecule and the measured electrochemical impedance spectroscopy signal. This compound has been shown to have anti-tumor effects in liver cells, inhibiting protein synthesis by binding to an enzyme called carbonyl reductase. Benzoylferrocene also inhibits x-ray diffraction data from multi-walled carbon nanotubes, which are often used as drug delivery systems for molecular encapsulation and controlled release.
