Descripción:2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl acetate is a cholinergic drug used in the treatment of myasthenia gravis. It binds to acetylcholine receptors and blocks their activity, preventing the release of neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine or norepinephrine. 2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl acetate is also an irreversible enzyme inhibitor that hydrolyzes amines (e.g., histamine). 2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl acetate has been shown to be effective in treating patients with low sperm count due its effects on spermatozoa motility, which may be related to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis.
