Descripción:
2-Methyl-1H-purin-6-amine is a purine derivative that is used to treat autoimmune diseases. It has been shown to inhibit the enzyme autophagy, which is involved in the degradation of cellular components. 2-Methyl-1H-purin-6-amine also inhibits the transport of proteins from the cytosol into lysosomes, leading to an accumulation of protein in the cytosol. This compound has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in cancer cells by activating immune receptors. 2-Methyl-1H-purin-6-amine has also been shown to induce lipolytic enzymes, leading to weight loss in mice.
2 methyl 1H purin 6 amine may be found in urine samples because it is excreted by the kidneys.
