Descripción:3-Cyclohexene-1-methanol is a fatty acid that is used as a precursor in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and other chemicals. It has been shown to have antifungal activity against Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Xylomyces sp. It also has been shown to be effective against Staphylococcus aureus, but not against Escherichia coli. 3-Cyclohexene-1-methanol has been shown to reduce the size of tumors in mice by inhibiting cell proliferation through cationic polymerization with DNA.
