Información del producto
Difluoromethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is a pharmaceutical drug that belongs to the class of functional groups. It is used for the treatment of ophthalmic disorders and cardiovascular disorders. Difluoromethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is a nucleophilic agent that binds to copper ions, leading to bond cleavage. The resulting copper salt inhibits the activity of the enzyme phospholipase A2, which is involved in the metabolism of lipids and cholesterol. This leads to decreased production of fatty acids and increased levels of HDL cholesterol. Difluoromethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate has been shown to have antidiabetic properties by modulating insulin sensitivity in rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It also has thrombotic and mediated effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit platelet aggregation and increase vascular resistance, respectively.
