Descripción:
Propyl methanesulfonate is an organic compound that belongs to the group of pyrimidine compounds. It is a metabolic inhibitor and genotoxin that is used in the treatment of infectious diseases and cancer. Propyl methanesulfonate has been shown to cause infertility, as it inhibits spermatogenesis by disrupting the production of male sex hormones. It also causes metabolic disorders, such as insulin resistance, through its effects on fatty acid metabolism. Propyl methanesulfonate has been shown to be effective against certain cancers, including prostate cancer cells in mice and human leukemia cells in vitro. This drug also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
