DL-Alanyl-DL-methionine is a drug that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of bladder cancer. It inhibits the growth and proliferation of bladder cancer cells by binding to their cell surfaces, and also inhibits the production of chloride and sulfoxide. DL-Alanyl-DL-methionine is a cocrystallized molecule with two isomers: L-alanyl and D-alanyl DL methionine. This drug has been shown to inhibit kidney cancer cells, but not corynebacteria.
