Budesonide is a glucocorticoid receptor drug that is used to treat inflammatory diseases of the lungs such as COPD, Crohn’s disease and asthma. This drug promotes anti-inflammatory genes such as interleukin-10. Budesonide aims to reduce inflammation in patients suffering from respiratory disease.
