Descripción:Febuxostat is a non-purine xanthine oxidase inhibitor that is used for the treatment and management of hyperuricemia and chronic gouty arthritis. Febuxostat inhibits the uptake of uric acid from the blood into cells and thereby reduces its concentration in plasma. Additionally, this drug has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
