Descripción

Lapatinib is an antineoplastic agent used to treat breast and lung cancer. This drug is also a tyrosine kinase inhibitor and inhibits human epidermal growth factor receptor type 2 (HER2/ERBB2) and epidermal growth factor receptor (HER1/EGFR/ERBB1). Lapatinib has shown to inhibit ERBB-driven tumor cell growth in vitro and in various animal models.
