Diisopropyl allylboronate is a borane compound that can be used in the implanting process. It is used as a coupling agent for metal-containing catalysts, such as indenes and metallocenes. Diisopropyl allylboronate has been shown to be an effective thermal treatment additive for low temperature polymerization of indanone. It also exhibits good homogeneity in organic solvents and does not react with other elements.
