Descripción:4-Nitro-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is a potent inhibitor of the human enzyme alpha/beta hydrolase domain containing 1 (ABHD1). The inhibition is irreversible and results in the accumulation of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in cells. This accumulation leads to increased levels of phosphatidic acid (PA) and diacylglycerol, which are lipid signaling molecules. ABHD1 inhibitors have been shown to be efficient at inhibiting tumor cell growth in vitro and in vivo, but their potency varies widely among different compounds. 4-Nitro-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3 carboxylic acid has an X-ray crystal structure that can be used as a template for designing novel inhibitors with improved physicochemical properties.
