Descripción:
2-Chloro-6-methylbenzamide is a hydrogen bond donor that is hydrophobic and classifies in the profile of a carcinogen. 2-Chloro-6-methylbenzamide has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting ribosomal protein synthesis. It also inhibits the growth of epidermoid carcinoma cells, which are resistant to chemotherapy. This drug has been shown to be effective against human epidermoid carcinoma cells and other types of cancer cells. The mechanism of action for 2-chloro-6-methylbenzamide is unknown, but it may be due to its conformational properties or optimization with other drugs.
