Descripción

N-Palmitoyl serinol is an analog of palmitic acid. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of lymphocytic leukemia and other cancers. N-Palmitoyl serinol inhibits inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and acne vulgaris. The drug is also effective in the treatment of famotidine-induced gastric ulcers. N-Palmitoyl serinol is a fatty acid that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and is effective in vivo treatment against gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The drug also binds to the endocannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) and inhibits the release of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL1β and TNFα.
