Descripción:GSK2818713 is a new NS5A replication complex inhibitor that is being studied for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C genotype 1 infections. GSK2818713 has been shown to be potently active against long-term daclatasvir-resistant virus replicons, as well as cross-resistant to other NS5A inhibitors. It also inhibits the replication of the genotype 1a HCV in cell culture, and has a long half-life in mice. GSK2818713 may be an effective long-term treatment for chronic hepatitis C genotype 1 infections.
