Descripción:ML-299 is a solid dispersion of an aromatic hydrocarbon, dilating agent, and lactobacillus acidophilus. It is used for the treatment of cancer by inhibiting tumor growth. ML-299 has been shown to inhibit viral infections and to be an inhibitory compound for the formation of new blood vessels in tumors. ML-299 has optical properties that may be useful in optical imaging techniques such as fluorescence tomography. The diameter of ML-299 particles ranges from 1 nm to 100 μm, with a detection sensitivity of 0.1 μm, which can provide sufficient contrast for optical imaging applications.
