Descripción:PSI-697 is a heparinoid that inhibits the synthesis of thrombin and other coagulation factors. It is an anticoagulant, which prevents the formation of blood clots in the circulatory system. PSI-697 has been shown to be effective against heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, which is due to its ability to inhibit the activation of platelets by the receptor toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). It also inhibits signaling pathways that are involved in growth factor production. PSI-697 has been studied for its pharmacokinetic properties in humans, and it was found that it had a long half-life and low clearance rate.
