Descripción:MGS0274 is a drug that was developed for the treatment of symptoms in humans. It is an analog of glutamate, which is a neurotransmitter that acts as a chemical messenger between neurons. MGS0274 binds to metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs), which are proteins found on the surface of cells. In animal studies, MGS0274 has been shown to have a pharmacokinetic profile similar to that of other drugs with this mechanism of action. This drug has not yet been tested on humans, but it has completed Phase 1 clinical trials in healthy volunteers and Phase 2 clinical trials in patients with Parkinson's disease. The terminal half-life of MGS0274 is unknown at this time.
