MMP-2 Inhibitor II is a derivative of vildagliptin, an inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), which is used to treat type 2 diabetes. This drug also exhibits inhibitory effects on other enzymes such as lincomycin and has been detected in urine samples. The use of MMP-2 Inhibitor II may provide new therapeutic options for the treatment of cancer.
