• Descripción: R428 is a small-molecule drug that is capable of inhibiting the BCR-ABL kinase and blocking the progression of chronic myelogenous leukemia. It has been shown to be effective in both in vitro and in vivo studies, with reduced toxicity compared to other treatments. R428 has been shown to inhibit proliferation of breast cancer cells in vitro and reduce the size of solid tumours in mice. This drug also inhibits epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) from epithelial cells to mesenchymal cells, which may be a potential mechanism for its anticancer activity.
