Descripción:JYL1421 is a potential drug target for the treatment of chronic cough, inflammatory bowel disease, and diabetic neuropathy. It is an agonist for the TRPV4 receptor. JYL1421 has been shown to increase ATP production in cultured bladder cells and decrease the energy metabolism in cultured cardiac myocytes. It also decreases bowel motility, which may be due to its inhibition of cation channels that are involved in the propagation of nerve impulses. The anti-inflammatory properties of JYL1421 have been demonstrated by its ability to inhibit monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1) levels and reduce skin inflammation induced by carrageenan or ultraviolet A radiation.
