Descripción:Simvastatin is a lipid-lowering agent that belongs to the group of statins. It is prescribed for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia, coronary heart diseases, and other conditions related to high cholesterol levels. Simvastatin inhibits the production of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG CoA) reductase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of cholesterol.Simvastatin is part of our Bio-X ™ Range.
