Descripción:Selgantolimod is a small molecule that has been shown to be effective against hepatitis. This drug is structurally similar to the toll-like receptor ligands, which are involved in the immune response to infection. Selgantolimod is a potent inhibitor of the signal pathways that regulate cell death and survival. The molecular mechanism of this drug is not yet fully understood, but it has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of proteins by inhibiting polymerase chain reactions and triggering an antibody response. Selgantolimod may also be used as a diagnostic tool for chronic viral hepatitis or solid tumours.
