In addition, it inhibits the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells in vitro and reduces tumor size in mice with pancreatic cancer. NSC781406 induces cytotoxic effects by modulating the activity of enzymes involved in cellular signaling pathways such as phosphoinositide kinase (PI3K) and protein kinase C (PKC).
