Methyl 1-(but-3-yn-1-yl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate is a substance that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of cervical cancer and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It is used in pediatric cancer as well as in women with endometriosis. Methyl 1-(but-3-yn-1-yl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate inhibits DNA polymerase activity and prevents the synthesis of DNA. This compound also inhibits the growth of ovarian cancer cells by inhibiting their ability to divide and grow. This drug has been shown to be safe in both animals and humans.
