Descripción

Methoxygonadiene is a biodegradable compound that is used in the treatment of pediatric infectious diseases. It is structurally similar to bile acids and can bind to bile acids in the digestive tract, preventing their reabsorption. Methoxygonadiene has been shown to be effective for the treatment of infections caused by strains such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, and Shigella dysenteriae. This drug also has strong antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and an ability to reduce high concentrations of organic solvents in the environment.
