Descripción:2-(2-Hydroxyethoxy)ethyl methacrylate is a film-forming polymer that is used as an adhesive and sealant. It is a colorless, viscous liquid with a slight odor. The polymer has been shown to be active in mammalian cells and has been used as a cross-linking agent for proteins. 2-(2-Hydroxyethoxy)ethyl methacrylate is soluble in water and alcohols, but insoluble in oils. It reacts with acids to form salts, with bases to form esters, and with alcohols to form ethers. This product has high resistance against radiation and extreme pH values.
