Cyclohexyl benzoate is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of esters. It has an interactive response with glomerular filtration rate, which is a measure of how fast blood is filtered by the kidneys. Cyclohexyl benzoate has been shown to decrease cancer risk in women who are carriers of the blood group A and have no other significant interactions. Cyclohexyl benzoate also has strong interactions with light exposure, such as low light or high intensity light. Exposure to light causes rapid clearance of cyclohexyl benzoate from the skin and eye and increased absorption into the body. In contrast, cyclohexyl benzoate does not interact with platinum-based chemotherapy drugs, contraceptives, or body mass index.
